OREGON – Ogle County has started its biennial voter registration purge to keep records accurate by removing voters who have moved, changed their name, or died, as required by Illinois law. The County Clerk’s Office mailed new voter registration cards to all registered voters the week of July 18, 2025. Cards returned by the Post Office may trigger a confirmation letter, and failure to respond or vote in two General Elections may lead to inactive status, requiring re-registration. Voters are urged to review their cards for accuracy and report any issues to the Clerk’s Office.
