DEKALB — The DeKalb City Council approved a $41,700 project to replace four overhead doors and three door operators at Fire Station 1. City officials said the work, awarded to Raynor Door Authority, will be funded through the fiscal year 2026 buildings and improvements budget. The replacements are intended to reduce ongoing repair costs and improve reliability for emergency response. Officials said the new doors will match units installed in recent years and will support continued operations at the fire station.
