Joliet Approves Massive Data Center Project

JOLIET –  The Joliet City Council has approved plans for a massive data center near Bernhard and Rowell.  The project would include 24 buildings on a 795-acre site near the Chicagoland Speedway.  City officials say the development is expected to bring new tax revenue and jobs, while some residents continue to raise concerns about environmental and neighborhood impacts.
