Rochelle Township High School Board Approves Staff Changes And Graduation Date

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Township High School Board approved several personnel changes and other items during its meeting Monday night. The board accepted the retirement of custodian Terry Daugherty at the end of the 2025 to 2026 school year and the resignation of school counselor and assistant football coach Michael Dale effective June 30, 2026. Board members also approved the employment of Tony Doyle as volunteer golf assistant coach, Lucas Smardo as a summer technology department worker, and Sarai Uecker as girls soccer head coach. Members also approved an updated Alternative Learning Opportunities Program agreement with the Kishwaukee Education Consortium, set graduation for Saturday May 23 at 10 a.m., and renewed membership with the Illinois High School Association for the 2026 to 2027 school year.
