Dylan Manning of Rochelle is back home following 10 days in the hospital after an infection on his scalp.
The junior football and baseball player had a cranioplasty procedure on his head in January. This was a 3-D printed platic for his scalp.
Manning had brain surgery last October following an injury during a football game.
Ben Manning, Dylan’s father, said his son got home in Thursday and is doing home care with a nurse.
He said he is feeling good and glad to be home.
Manning had surgery to removed the plastic from his scalp. Ben said that no date has been set on when the second surgery will take place on his head.
He said they plan to use titaium when the second cranioplasty procedure will be done.
