Sycamore City Council Approves License for Accessibility Ramps at Opportunity House

SYCAMORE — The Sycamore City Council approved a license agreement Monday allowing Opportunity House to build two accessibility ramps at 342 North Sacramento Street. The ramps will extend about 18 inches into the street right-of-way but remain behind the existing sidewalk. Opportunity House will cover all installation and maintenance costs, carry $1 million in liability insurance, and accept the site in its current condition.
