ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Chamber of Commerce will continue its Industrial Task Force in 2026 with four quarterly, invite only meetings aimed at providing Rochelle based industry leaders a forum to share concerns, ask questions and stay informed on city services and economic development efforts. The task force brings together representatives from local industries along with city leadership and partners including utilities, rail, airport, the Lee Ogle Enterprise Zone, Kishwaukee College and economic development officials, with attendance typically ranging from 10 to 25 participants and limited to industries located within the city. Two breakfast meetings will be held at The 302 on Cherry Avenue, and two lunch meetings later in the year will take place at the Rochelle Rec Center, with the first meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning.
“ Definitely we want the industries to know that we are so proud of our industry base here in Rochelle and that we want to give them a forum for the ups and the downs and connect and stay in the loop,” said Rochelle Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tricia Herrera. “and just be a great part of the community. We want to help them do that.”
