SYCAMORE – The DeKalb County History Center will reveal the homes featured in this year’s Pumpkin Fest Historic Homes Tour during a free Brown Bag Lunch program at noon Thursday, Oct. 1. The program will be held at the History Center, 1730 N. Main St. in Sycamore. This year’s tour theme is Red, White, and Blue Houses in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The tour will offer a look inside historic Sycamore homes and highlight their architecture and history. The Historic Homes Tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, with tickets going on sale Oct. 1. Volunteers are also needed and can receive a free tour ticket after attending training and working a three hour shift during the event.
