Illinois Achieves 10th Rating Upgrade Since Governor Pritzker Took Office

SPRINGFIELD –  Governor Pritzker is touting the state’s 10th credit rating upgrade since he took office.  Moody’s Investors Service upgraded Illinois’ rating to A-2 for the State’s general obligation bonds.  Officials say this recognition comes as Illinois has made significant financial progress under Pritzker, including passing seven consecutive balanced budgets and increasing the rainy-day fund to nearly two-point-four-billion-dollars.
