SPRINGFIELD — More Illinois residents are completing driver and vehicle services online, according to Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias. During the first seven months of 2026, about 560,000 eligible driver’s license and state ID transactions were completed online, up 43 percent from the same period in 2025. More than 2.25 million vehicle sticker renewals also were completed online, allowing residents to avoid a trip to a DMV facility.
