Rochelle Council Approves 2026 Employee Health Insurance Rates

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle City Council earlier this month approved updated 2026 premium rates for city employees through the Intergovernmental Personnel Benefits Cooperative. The city will move to the Blue Choice Options plan, which includes a 9.05% premium increase, and will continue offering the High Deductible Health Plan with a 13.3% increase. The city also approved a $1,000 Health Savings Account contribution for employees choosing the HDHP regardless of coverage level.
