Former IL Gov Jim Edgar Laid To Rest

SPRINGFIELD —  Friends, family and colleagues are saying goodbye to former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar.  Republicans and Democrats gathered Saturday for Edgar’s funeral in Springfield.  The Charleston native died at the age of 79 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.  Edgar was a two term Republican governor, serving from 1991 to 1999.
