Byron Council Approves TIF Agreements, Street Work

BYRON — The Byron City Council met Wednesday to approve tax increment financing agreements, engineering change orders for street work, and a final $74,000 payment for Walnut Street road work. Council members also approved street closures for ChiliFest, received updates on the Wastewater Treatment Plant project, and noted progress on street resurfacing and water main replacements. The council will wait to send out bids for construction of the new wastewater treatment plant to allow more time for final design revisions.
