Polo Seeks $600,000 OSLAD Grant for Park Improvements

POLO — The Polo City Council held a public hearing this month on its application for an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development grant to upgrade playground equipment at Millard Deuth Westside Park on the city’s west side. During the hearing, a resident asked about a proposed parking lot, which is planned at 100 by 150 feet, though the number of spaces was not specified. The city is requesting the maximum $600,000, with a decision expected in spring 2026.
