ROCHELLE — The Flagg-Rochelle Park District Board reported ongoing improvements at the band shell following the Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival, including concrete repairs, caulking, painting, lighting replacements, and plans to replace older benches with a smaller seating area. Recreation Director Maureen Stevens highlighted upcoming community events at the REC Center, including a Pumpkin Plunge on Oct. 10, a dive-in movie showing Moana on Nov. 21, and monthly Life Lessons 101 programs for local residents.
