OGLE COUNTY — A 57-year-old Beloit man was injured Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle struck a deer on Illinois Route 72. Deputies said the man was reportedly riding eastbound on a 2007 Harley Davidson when the animal entered the roadway and collided with the motorcycle. He sustained minor injuries and was taken by Pecatonica EMS to Javon Bea Hospital.
