Rochelle Park District Seeks Grant for Tilton Park Upgrades

ROCHELLE — The Flagg Rochelle Community Park District is seeking a state grant to fund major upgrades at Tilton Memorial Park, including new batting cages, playgrounds, fitness stations, turf and field surfaces, dugouts, lighting, concession improvements, and parking lot paving. The board approved applying for the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development grant last month, which provides a 50-50 match of up to $1 million, with a decision expected in spring 2026.
