DeKalb Township Schedules Free Tire Recycling Event

DEKALB  – DeKalb Township will hold a free tire recycling event Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at 2323 South Fourth Street in DeKalb. The program is open to township residents who provide proof of residency, with a limit of six tires per household. Officials said the effort gives residents a chance to dispose of unwanted tires in an environmentally safe way.
