August 3, 2025 – Edward C. Baxter, 55, of Byron, was arrested for placing an electronic tracking device in the 1100 block of W. 2nd St. Baxter was also wanted in Lee County for failure to appear and was held in lieu of bond at Ogle County Jail.
August 4 – Jacob A. Isler, 30, of Leaf River, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration in the 1200 block of W. Blackhawk Dr.
August 6 – A 17-year-old male was arrested for aggravated domestic battery on S. Maple St. He was taken into limited custody and released to a parent.
August 8 – Fabian A. Reyna, 19, of Rockford, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration in the 100 block of W. Blackhawk.
August 9 – Donald D. Muroney, 57, of Dixon, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration, operating an uninsured vehicle, and operating a vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended in the 600 block of E. Blackhawk. He was processed and released with a notice to appear.
August 10 – Mason J. Snodgrass, 25, of Byron, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, including a BAC over 0.08, in the 500 block of Blackhawk Dr. He was processed and released with a notice to appear. Joshua R. McGrath, 38, of Rockford, was arrested for domestic battery in the 100 block of Blackhawk and released with a notice to appear.
August 11 – Kylie A. Tollefson, 22, of Queen Creek, Ariz., was cited for speeding, 50 in a 30 MPH zone, in the 500 block of Blackhawk.
August 13 – Mark A. Peyton, 69, of Rockford, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration, no valid driver’s license, and no proof of insurance in the 100 block of W. 2nd St.
August 14 – Juan M. Frayre, 36, of Rockford, was cited for operating a vehicle with no valid driver’s license, suspended registration, and no proof of insurance in the 100 block of Blackhawk.
