MENDOTA, Ill. — The Mendota Police Department and Illinois State Police issued citations Wednesday to seven people following an investigation into the illegal sale of alcohol to underage persons. Those cited were Shannon D. Russell, 38, of Rosati’s Pizza and Pub; Marla Castro, 31, of Frankie’s Tavern; Andrew S. Abbott, 52, of Fitzer’s; Anthony Anu, 36, of Mobile Gas Station; Paul A. Drees, 66, of Lakeside Liquor; Ethan A. Brown, 29, of Casey’s Gas Station; and Luz E. Arteaga, 56, of Arteaga Liquor.
