OREGON – The Ogle County Finance, Revenue and Insurance Committee voted earlier this month to hire an appraiser to determine the value of county-owned property at 920 Technology Parkway in Rochelle after the city expressed interest in buying it back. The property was originally purchased by the county in the early 2000s, and officials discussed the possibility of Rochelle including rental assistance for the Health Department facility as part of a deal. The committee agreed to seek quotes from appraisal firms and select the lowest cost option.
