Cardinals Score 3 Runs In the 10th Inning And Beat The Cubs 3-2

The St. Louis Cardinals scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 10th inning Wednesday night and beat the Chicago Cubs 3-2.

Ivan Herrera had the game winning hit with a 2-run double.

The Cubs had taken a 2-0 lead in the top of the 10th inning on a 2-run home run by Pete Crow-Armstrong.

Chicago had only 3 hits in the game.

Trent Thornton took the loss in relief.

The final game in the series will be played Thursday afternoon at Busch Stadium. The Cubs have won 2 out of 3 games in the series.
