ROCKFORD — A 65-year-old man from Winnebago died after a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Rockford. The collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. at South Springfield Avenue and Montague Road, where a motorcycle and sedan crashed, sending the car into a nearby pole. The motorcyclist, identified as Ralph Fry, was found with serious injuries and taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The Winnebago County Coroner said an autopsy confirmed he died from injuries sustained in the crash.
