SOMONAUK — A 57-year-old Woodstock woman was seriously injured Saturday after crashing her motorcycle on Somonauk Road south of Phillips Road, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Tamara Nubuehr-Gold lost control, left the roadway, and struck a culvert, causing the motorcycle to go airborne. She was ejected and suffered life-threatening injuries. A Lifestar helicopter flew her to Good Samaritan Hospital. Sandwich and Somonauk fire crews assisted at the scene.
