Two Cubs players will represent the USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Centerfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and left-handed pitcher Matthew Boyd aren’t the only Chicago representatives in the international baseball tournament.
Top Cubs prospect Owen Caissie is expected to join Canada’s team. North Side right fielder Seiya Suzuki and hurler Shota Imanaga have yet to announce whether they’ll play for Team Japan.
The World Baseball Classic which runs from March 5th through the 17th. Games will be played in Miami, Florida, Houston, Texas, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Tokyo, Japan.
