POLO – Crews will be working on Freeport Road in Ogle and Whiteside counties. Construction begins today on Freeport Road from East Lynn Boulevard in Sterling to West Sterling Road south of Polo. Crews will be patching, milling and resurfacing the road. There will be daily lane closures during the $3.5 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in May.
