Woman Charged With Trying To Disarm Officer In Rockford

ROCKFORD –  A woman is accused of trying to disarm an officer in Rockford. Police say officers responded Tuesday to AMC Showplace 16 on East State for reports that the suspect was involved in a domestic violence incident in the theatre.  Marissa Hurley was later located in the 200 block of South University Drive.  She gave police a false name and attempted to disarm officers after she was taken into custody.  Hurley faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault of an officer.
