Woman Charged With Starting Fire At Residential Care Facility in Rockford


ROCKFORD —  A woman faces arson charges after being accused of starting a fire at a residential care facility in Rockford.  Authorities say Madison Dorsey became angry during a meeting with a staff member Monday at Stepping Stones.  Dorsey, who is a resident at the facility, went to the kitchen and used a stove burner to light paper on fire and placed it on carpeting within the dining area.  No injuries were reported.
