SPRINGFIELD – Another winter storm is heading for Illinois, with the prospect of dumping several inches of snow across the region. A Winter Storm Watch goes into effect Wednesday morning at 9 AM through Thursday at 3 AM. Southern Illinois will see mostly rain, and possibly freezing rain, as temperatures hover just above freezing. Snow totals for northern Illinois could get above 6 inches.
