(Chicago, IL) — The Red Sox salvaged their series finale against the White Sox after collecting a 3-1 win in Chicago.
Garrett Crochet earned the victory against his former team after striking out 11 batters over seven-plus innings. Trevor Story went three for four with a solo homer and three RBI. Boston has split its last four games.
Matt Thaiss drove in the only run of the game for the White Sox with an RBI single. Chicago has lost nine of its last 11.
The White Sox are home Tuesday against the Athletics.
