Matt Thaiss and Andrew Vaughn each went deep with a two-run shot. The victory also snapped Chicago’s six-game losing streak.
Zack Kelly suffered the loss after allowing three runs on one hit over his relief appearance. Boston’s winning streak was snapped after four games.
