OREGON — United Way of Ogle County will host its Adult Prom: A Night in Hollywood on Friday, March 6, at the Stronghold Center to raise funds for local programs. The event will include dancing with a live DJ, heavy appetizers, a cash bar with one drink, a photo booth, a silent auction, a dessert dash, and raffle baskets. Guests are encouraged to dress in formal wear from their favorite decade. Tickets are $50 per person, $95 per couple, and $350 for a table of eight.
Ashley Richter, Executive Director United Way of Lee and Ogle County, said they have a number of different agencies in the region they support.
“Tthis last year we were able to support 26 local nonprofits in Ogle County, through those grants,” she said. “So we’re really excited to be able to fundraise and work hard to raise community dollars to help support these local programs. So a great opportunity to get involved and have a fun night all while supporting a good cause.”
