OREGON – United Way of Ogle County will hold its annual Day of Caring today, bringing volunteers together for a morning of community service at project sites throughout the county. The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon and will include projects such as cleanup, landscaping, organizing and other work for local nonprofits, schools and individuals.
United Way of Ogle County Board Member Samantha Ciaccio said, “We love giving back, and we love making sure that everybody in our community’s taken care of, so you know, that’s why we’re, that’s why we have our Day of Caring, and that’s why we’re looking for those volunteers to come and help.”
Participants will receive a United Way Day of Caring T shirt as part of the event.
