ROCHELLE – Ogle County Sheriff Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash Thursday around 4 PM at the intersection of North Illinois Route 251 and Rolling Meadows Road. An investigation found that a 48-year-old woman from Davis Junction, driving southbound on North Illinois Route 251, failed to yield the right of way to a northbound vehicle. The woman reportedly turned east in front of the other vehicle, driven by a 27-year-old man from Loves Park. The woman was taken to Rochelle Community Hospital for injuries, while the Loves Park man was treated at the scene for minor injuries and declined further treatment. The crash is under investigation.
