OREGON – Two people are facing drug charges after an early morning arrest on Sunday in Oregon. The Oregon Police Department says that during a traffic stop for minor violations in the 1200 block of W. Washington Street, officers discovered purported drugs. During the search, officers reportedly discovered 49 grams of purported methamphetamine, 7 pills of purported MDMA, 7 grams of purported cocaine, and allegedly 70 grams of psilocybin. Authorities say a 31-year-old Clinton, Iowa woman and a 45-year-old Rock Falls woman were charged with multiple drug-related offenses, including possession and possession with intent to deliver various controlled substances. The Iowa woman was released with a notice to appear, while the Rock Falls woman remains in custody.
