Twenty-Five Illinois Farm Bureau Members Graduate from Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow Program

BLOOMINGTON – Twenty-five members of the Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB) recently graduated from the Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT) program, a leadership development initiative that equips participants with skills to advocate for Illinois agriculture. The program, which has been active since 1979, offers over 80 hours of instruction in communication, political processes, agricultural economics, and global agricultural issues. Graduates represent 15 counties and include full-time and part-time farmers as well as professionals from various agriculture-related industries. This year’s participants include Lee County graduates Ashleigh Erbes, Matt Englehart, Jay Long, Brandon Heiman, Addison Hopkins, and Jenna Meurer. They join others from counties such as Henry, Bureau, Cook, McLean, and Kankakee. The ALOT program is designed to prepare participants to lead and advocate for agriculture across Illinois through comprehensive educational sessions.
