Time is Running Out: Illinois Sheriffs’ Offices Offer Scholarships for 2025-2026 Academic Year

OREGON – Several Illinois Sheriff’s Offices, including DeKalb, Lee, and Ogle counties, are offering $500 scholarships to local students pursuing higher education in the 2025-2026 academic year. Sponsored by the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association, the scholarships are available to permanent Illinois residents enrolled full-time at an accredited institution within the state, including online learning options. Applications must be submitted by Friday, with completed forms, essays, and supporting documents due by the deadline.
