Thomson Prison Staffers Sent To Hospital Due To Possible Drug Exposure

THOMSON –  Staffers at Thomson federal prison are back home after being sent to the hospital due to a possible dangerous drug exposure.  The union representing the workers says 17 employees were hospitalized Wednesday after they were exposed to an unknown substance in the mail room.  The union claims this is the largest group of workers sent to the hospital in the prison’s history.  The incident is being investigated by the FBI.
