Teddy Bear Picnic to Be Held at Rochelle Public Library

ROCHELLE – The 4C Child Care Community Coordinated Family Enrichment Program  will host its annual Teddy Bear Picnic on Thursday at the Rochelle Public Library. The event, running from 10:30 AM. to 11:30 AM, will offer a fun, family-friendly atmosphere for children and parents alike. Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animals, with free teddy bears available for those who don’t have one. Starr Anderson with 4C Child Care, said the event isn’t exclusively for Teddy Bears.

“If your favorite stuffed animal is your little dinosaur and you want to bring them in, we’ll have little baby hats and baby socks and scarves, bracelets, sunglasses,” she said. “So yeah, whatever you want to bring your favorite stuffed animal.”

The organization serves families in Ogle, Lee, and DeKalb counties, providing services to children from birth to three, including home visits, developmental screenings, and parenting classes.  For more information about the program and the event, visit Four-C.org.
