Pet of the week: Hi, I’m Jayde! I’m 9 years young, around 55 pounds, and I’m hoping to find my forever family. I’m a sweet, loving, easygoing girl who enjoys leisurely walks, car rides, and being near my people. I know sit, down, paw, and even hug—because sometimes you just need a hug! I’ve done great with kids, adults, visitors, and even dog friends. I’m not fearful, and I’m happiest when I can be close to my humans.
Now, about cats… Let’s just say I have decided that cats and I should probably maintain a respectful “you stay over there, I’ll stay over here” relationship. So please, no feline roommates for me!
I do have separation anxiety, so I need a home where someone is around most of the day and where I can have a predictable routine. I’m also not a fan of crates, and I really don’t enjoy being left alone.
I’ve had a lot of changes lately, and I’m really hoping someone will see the wonderful, loving senior girl I am. I have so much love left to give—and I’d really like to give it to YOU.
