SYCAMORE – Erik Mahan has been appointed the new Chief of Police for the City of Sycamore. With 29 years of law enforcement experience, Mahan currently serves as Deputy Chief in St. Charles. A Sycamore Township resident for over 20 years, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University and completed advanced leadership training at Northwestern University. Mahan will be sworn in on March 17th.
