Sycamore Fire Department Announces Rural Address Sign Program

SYCAMORE – The Sycamore Fire Department, in collaboration with the Sycamore Fire Protection District, is offering a rural address sign program for residents outside the city limits. The reflective signs will improve visibility for first responders, especially at night or during severe weather, ensuring quicker emergency response times. Property owners in the district can request a new or replacement sign by providing their name, address, and phone number to Fire Chief Bart Gilmore. The signs will be installed free of charge, enhancing safety for residents in rural areas.
