Study Says Illinois Drivers Lead Nation in Ignoring Road Signs

CHICAGO – A new study says Illinois drivers ignore road signs more than drivers in any other state.Nicolet Law found that nearly 1,500 Illinois drivers over the last five years were involved in fatal crashes caused by running stop signs or ignoring yield warnings. The report found that one out of six deadly incidents in Illinois happened because people broke road-sign rules.
