State Police Investigating Nails Scattered Along I-80 In LaSalle, Bureau Counties

UTICA —  Illinois State police are investigating after troopers located a large amount of roofing nails scattered in the emergency crossovers on I-80 in LaSalle and Bureau counties.  It was determined some of the nails were contained in plastic Easter eggs and deposited in the crossovers.  Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Illinois State Police.
