Skeletal Remains Found In Kewanee

KEWANEE —  An investigation is underway after skeletal remains were found in Kewanee.  Police say they were contacted yesterday by an employee of the Kewanee Park District about a discovery at Northeast Park.  The employee reported that a company was emptying a restroom waste holding tank on the north end of the park when the workers discovered skeletal remains, including what appeared to be a human skull.  Officers responded to the scene and began an investigation.
