KEWANEE – Authorities are confirming that skeletal remains found in Kewanee last week belong to a human. An employee of the Kewanee Park District reported that the remains were discovered last Wednesday at Northeast Park. An autopsy determined that they belong to an unidentified adult. Investigators are also working to obtain dental records to help identify the person.
