ROCHELLE – Sewer lining work will begin Thursday in Rochelle on parts of South Main Street and Washington Avenue. National Power Rodding crews will use a trenchless method to repair aging sewer lines by inserting a liner into the existing pipes, creating a watertight seal without excavation. Residents may notice a temporary odor during the process and are advised to pour water into floor drains and plumbing traps to help block smells from entering homes.
