CHICAGO – A sentencing date is set for Michael Madigan. A federal judge set sentencing for the former Illinois House speaker for June 13th. The order comes after Madigan was found guilty last month on conspiracy and bribery charges. The verdict was handed down after a four-month trial. The Chicago Democrat faces a possible wide range of punishments, with several of his guilty counts carrying a maximum of 20 years in prison.
