SAVANNA— State Senator Li Arellano, Jr. is inviting students entering grades 1 through 12 to participate in the Summer Reading Program, challenging them to read eight books by August 1st. Students can join by reading eight books and filling out a simple online form by the deadline. Those who complete the challenge will receive a certificate of recognition from the Illinois Senate.
