ROCHELLE — The Rotary Club of Rochelle hosted a fundraiser Thursday at the Flight Deck featuring a volleyball tournament and live music to support the Rochelle Community Action Network’s Holiday Shopping Trip Program, which provides clothing and toys for children referred by local schools, churches and nonprofits. Steder Tattoo won first place in the tournament and donated the prize back to CAN, with other top finishers including No Diggity, Just Dig It, Smack Ass and Nogg’s Trucking. Organizers set a $3,000 fundraising goal and reported surpassing that amount, with proceeds to be used for gift cards and volunteer shoppers during the annual trip.
